Atelier Luc Peire - Jenny & Luc Peire Foundation
The Atelier Luc Peire – Jenny & Luc Peire Foundation was set up by the artist himself in his will to present Luc Peire’s work to as wide a public as possible and to conserve his living and working environment.
The Foundation is located at De Judestraat 64 in B-8300 Knokke-Dorp, where it has at its disposal the studio, bungalow and garden of Jenny and Luc Peire. It has also erected a functional modern building as a ‘safe’ for Luc Peire’s works with a small exhibition space, designed by architects De Bruycker-De Brock.
For exhibiting Peire’s key work Environnement I from the Flemish Community Collection, the garden was expanded and a “garden room” was designed by the same architectural duo.
The Foundation’s archive collects and conserves all information and material about Luc Peire, his work and his artistic and family environment.
It is possible to visit the architectural site of the Jenny & Luc Peire Foundation in group. During the tour, you will receive art historical information about artist Luc Peire and his oeuvre and you will be able to visit the “vault,” garden, studio and bungalow. A visit to the “Garden Room” with the surprising mirror room Environnement I (1967) by Luc Peire is the highlight of the tour.

Every art lover should come here to check it out.
Enjoyed with great emotion this hushed harmonious setting.
A soothing and at the same time breathtaking place!
Wonderfully beautiful.
Moving.
Strong and engaging.
Admiration and remembrance.
Emotion and gratitude.
Infinite the lines.
Infinite the memory of Luc.
Infinite the thoughts.
An oasis of beauty.
Integral, cerebral, contemplative, generous.
